Although most of my musings are sports-related, I am still an advocate by profession. I have worked for several months to get a new project off the ground for my organization, Westchester Children’s Association.

About the Podcast
Ground Truthing unites community voices from across Westchester County to discuss topics that impact children and families. Guests represent content experts, advocates and youth voices. The show will highlight bright spots and critically question existing policies and practices through data-informed conversations.
The first episode of season one will air this coming January 2018 but we have released a teaser episode now so that you can get a preview of what is coming! We had the opportunity to interview some really amazing, talented, and knowledgeable guests for season one.
About my advocacy role at WCA
WCA has been advocating for children and families in Westchester County, New York for over 100 years. I started at WCA just before completing my masters at the NYU Wagner School of Public Service.
I was humbled to receive recognition as a New York Nonprofit Media 40 under 40 Rising Star this summer.

I’m very excited to share the work happening in the county I called home growing up (#914). The challenges children and families face is often masked by the reputation of wealth and success of Westchester County. With this new project, we hope to adequately access what is working, and where we are falling short.
We would love to hear your feedback on this project! If you have questions, comments or are interested in being interviewed for season two, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for listening!
