Hayley Moore named AHL VP of Operations

The founding GM of the Boston Pride will finish her term as President of the Boston Pride after the 2021 NWHL season

Today the American Hockey League (AHL) announced Hayley Moore will take on the role of Vice President, Hockey Operations for the league. Moore has been an executive in the NWHL since the 2015-16.

She has served as general manager of the Boston Pride and led them to the first ever Isobel Cup championship. She then served as the first NWHL deputy director before stepping into the role of President of the Boston Pride.

Moore will begin her duties with the American Hockey League after the conclusion of the 2021 NWHL season in Lake Placid, NY.

“My career has been fueled by a passion for development, so I am thrilled to be joining the American Hockey League, the premier development hockey league in the world,” said Moore.

I also want to acknowledge the owners, players and staff of the Boston Pride, and my colleagues at the NWHL. I am immensely proud to have been a part of the league for its first six seasons.”

Moore was director of girls’ hockey for the East Coast Wizards youth hockey association and served as commissioner of the Eastern Women’s Hockey Conference.
